I always open Leafs to Pens trades and think:
"Jarnkrok, Murray, or Lafferty"
Pens have no interest across the board.

Why wouldn't they? Dubas signed or otherwise traded for all three guys once already. He clearly sees value in them.

It was a different org. We also don't know how much autonomy Dubas actually got in Toronto either.

The only player out of the 3 (Jarnkrok, Murray, or Lafferty) that I could see coming to Pittsburgh would be Jarnkrok. I think Murray was a failed experiment for Dubas. And Lafferty was just extra depth and a throw in during the McCabe negotiations. Jarnkrok could be good, but I don't think that will happen because of his cap hit and we have other holes to fill i.e. defense, and hopefully a legit 3C. even though Dubas made it sound like Eller will be that...
