I would hate that move for the Bruins really even without Campbell in it. RNH's contract would really help them get through the year but I don't think he's capable of being a 1C. I think they should definitely re-sign Swayman if they can, especially if Bergeron retires. Not sure what DeBrusk could fetch on the market but I like the idea of Boston acquiring Hanifin and Scheifele, maybe DeBrusk could help in acquiring one (Hanifin) and the other (Scheifele) could be signed as a FA in the following year or acquired with futures perhaps. Go in the year with no expectations and see what happens.

Edmonton doesn't need or want any more LD, especially undersized ones.

I just don't see this working for either side. Edmonton would be interested in DeBrusk but not at the cost of Nugent-Hopkins, and they'd be interested in Swayman but are currently stuck with Campbell. None of this makes sense, but I absolutely disagree with your suggestion that DeBrusk is somehow reasonable payment for RNH.
