Sabres seem happy to go into the season with a trio of Comrie/Levi/UPL

Not that i wouldn’t mind an upgrade,
but it’s pretty questionable that Vladar would even be an upgrade- let alone be a significant enough upgrade to make sense for us

Yeah CGY may have to add a late pick to make it go through. I needed to clear up cap space which I guess could also happen simply by waiving Vladar.

I get that you’re just thinking of it as, “if the value is right, then the trade could go through”
BUT there’s just no reason for us to want Vladar,
even if he was free

He’s not a significant enough upgrade on anyone we have to matter to us
No offense, i just don’t see it

He's posted better numbers than Comrie and is more accustomed to a heavier workload. I understand being comfortable with what you have but I find it hard to believe Adams would say no to adding a better goaltender and potentially a late pick at virtually no cost.

Bc it’s arguable that Vladar is even better than Comrie
And even if he is, it’s by a minuscule amount

Most importantly, Comrie is already a “fit” here
He’s good in the room

Our young goalies are gonna get their chance it seems
We are carrying Comrie, plus Levi & UPL
And Adams is already comfortable that Comrie can handle being part of the trio- and the 3rd most important part of it

There’s just no possible way he could know that about Vladar
And Vladar isn’t a big enough upgrade to bring in right now just to *hope* that he’ll work out well with the kids

IMO….. there is ABSOLUTELY ZERO CHANCE the Sabres would even consider Vladar- none at all
