His value is fairly close to what I put. Lambert isn’t going to be a superstar he’s probably a 2nd or 3rd liner.. he ain’t no superstar.

He's not a consistent 20 goal scorer having only fluked that number twice in his career, nor a 40 point player, having only done that once. You know he's bad, when you have to greatly exaggerate his stats just to make him look like a marginal bottom sixer.

Anderson is at best a marginal bottom six player, being paid top 6 money. Montreal has tried dumping him for a few years now with no luck. Anderson is the text book definition of a cap dump. You're stuck with him.

The one issue I have with the Anderson trade is that he would probably put up his no movement clause in order to not go there. He would probably cut it if he can play somewhere in the top 10 teams in order to contend for the cup.

He unfortunately doesn’t show off his full potential with the Habs right now.. Once he gets better and stable linemates he’ll be that 5M$+ player we all see.

Yeah, for Montreal to decline that though there had to be a lot of dead cap going to Montreal along with Montreal giving up their 23 1st unprotected plus probably a good prospect to complete the deal. There's no reality that exists where some GM offered a 1st for Anderson straight up. Not even Chiarelli is that crazy.
