Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Just random Ideas, I know the Gibson/Campbell deal would be a stretch(think Campbell actually bounces back- and the mini retention for Gibson was to make the goalies $$ even on both sides with the term they both have remaining... And would look to re-sign Pesce to a Severson $$ but less term extension with the cap going up(likely by $4.5m or so according to some)...

Yeah, I forgot to do a different prospect with Ceci, if it were these 2 I'd say a 2nd would be the pick min haha..

Still not worth it to move Pesce. I think you’re under the impression the Canes have to move Pesce, which they do not. They will move him if the deal is enticing which this is def not

Campbell kills any sort of Gibson deal. The whole reason of trading him is to get out from under that 4-yr under water contract. Swapping it for a different 4-yr under water contract is pointless.

Can you explain why the canes even remotely entertain this? If they’re moving Pesce it’s likely to bring in EK. In that situation Ceci doesn’t hold value for them and the rest of the assets coming back are very meaningless.

And if he was willing to sign a shorter term extension versus a max or close to max deal at the Severson AAV he would’ve already signed it.
