Rangers will match that. Now you’ve paid to dump Campbell, but now you need to actually add some quality assets for Vejmelka. You have paid to dump Ceci, now actually add quality to get Pesce. Everyone except Edmonton passes.

Holloway, Tullio, 1st, 2nd for Campbell with $1M retained, would be my ask from Arizona, it's a flat cap, they gotta get value.

Ceci isn’t a cap dump lol while he is there for cap purposes he fills the gap on the right side for the canes after the trade. However, pesce would cost more

Problem is if they’re trading pesce it’s likely part of a bigger plan to bring EK in. In that case, canes have no need for Ceci and while he’s not a cap dump you guys need to move him for cap purposes and he’s not needed in CAR so it blows the deal up.

It’s a lot to pay and Holland is better off running it back in hopes that Campbell can rebound. Otherwise that’s the price to pay to offload a 20m 4 year cap dump. It will cost a fortune

It’s not a small cap dump 4x5M, and pretty much only a team who is not ready to compete for 4 years would be interested. Kings had to retain $2M of $5M for two years, a second and a former second to move Campbell. Less retention and longer duration demands fair compensation. I think requesting at least two firsts (Holloway is considered one), two second rounders ((Tulio is considered one) is fair if you also want a cap friendly starting goalie coming back as well.
