Description

If they have a 20 man roster, they can squeeze by the cap. Although this is most likely not ideal since they'd be cap-strapped the whole season.

Yeah what you said in the description is basically the problem. There is no way they can go a whole season with 0 players as scratches.

I agree, I'd prefer at least 22 player roster, last year when they had 20 player roster it was constant losing players to waivers.

Yeah, it was brutal ngl.

Honestly not sure how they move cap... if they trade murray instead of buying him out we can most likely squeeze a league min player in for 21 players. But again, that also isn't ideal.

Maybe Jarnkrok will have to go, he didn't do anything in the playoffs anyways. Then you can replace him with 2 cheap guys. Idk what it will cost to move Murray but if they can as well they will be fine. Big if with Murray though.

Yeah I was pretty high on Leafs getting Domi this off-season. Shame they couldn't grab Dermott I agree, could've been a nice low cap hit dman with nhl experience (with this team no less).
