They wouldn't do lafrenniere for dach straight up

Has an injury history and a career high of 38 points. I highly doubt a straight up trade is all LaF can fetch.

Lafreniere was healthy and got .....1 more point.

Dach was a signifigantly better player than lafrenniere this year.

Dach (third overall pick) value way higher right now I would say then lafreniere, let a lone another 1st pick and a decent prospect. way to much. would do a first and kapenen

In 58 games, prorated to 82 games he was on pace for 53 points. He got better as the year went on, probably would have finished aroud 55-60 pts.

I love when someone brings up a stat to dump on a player but doesn't include the games played to paint the full picture.

Montreal doesn't do Laf for Dach straight up.

I think Hugo would have to at least contemplate a straight up swap if it was offered. Sure Dach is a center and quite honestly a much better skater but he does have an injury history and Laff the hometown kid would be a hard story to pass up…
Now with that being, adding a first and Kapanen is just overkill…

I like Dachs upside more then Lafrenieres at this point and I don’t think they would trade a first given where they stand right now. Definitely think it would be a non starter for Montreal.
