Yeah but at the same time this was Montreal bad years and they got injured alot so this is normal that player was in the negative. Base on is last trade value Savard could go for two second round pick ( plus or less value) but again what is value trade versus is value on the roster ??


Personally I would prefer to keep him, he's a good mentor for the young guys. But at same time the young are pushing alot to have an spot on the NHL roster. Xhekaj, Harris, Ghule, Matheson, Savard is currently on and you have guys like kovacevic and Wideman as depth 6/7 d-men add the young Barron and Mailloux who's pushing to play upstair and not with Laval.
