Holden is poor value to be honest and spending money on Puljujarvi (who is not playing until mid season) is also a poor return on valuable cap space

Personally, I think they need to spend money on guys that can score goals in case the Drouin experiment fails (which it probably will). There isn't much left out there that fits the bill but if they have to move, say, Colton up to the top six, now the bottom six gets all messed up. So, someone like Suter might be good to have around as insurance but also he can play in the bottom six no problem. But, they also have the option of waiting to see what else shakes loose from other teams looking to shed cap.
