I know a lot of people like to compare drafting KK to Hughes or Tkachuk, but let's be honest at the time the majority of people were wanting the habs to take Zadina. So it wasn't a total loss lol

I was in the Zadina camp cause he was a QMJHL player and thats how we roll lol

Then i hear "With the 3rd OA MTL selects Jesperi Kotkanemi " and i was throwing chips at the tv going "WTF is this guy? Defense, Center , Winger, Goalie?"

Friend of mine i watch with is a PHI fan and he said "Center , i expected him to be our pick " and they were picking like 12th -15th or something .
I was so annoyed but like with Galchenyuk i supported him from the first time he put on the Habs Jersey for a game at Camp.
It was the same way for me with Slaf until development camp now i seem to have more confidence in him then those who had him as their 1st OA
Reinbacher is experiencing that now

Last time we cheered a pick was Caufiled then Guhle.
Heck even our draft table was cheering like they had 1st OA when PHI passed on Caufield.
