It's crazy how habs fans bullied a kid just for being drafted

It's hilarious. Could've had a starting goalie of the future and two prospects that maybe aren't as good as Reinbacher individually, but certainly are better combined.

Instead they get Reinbacher, who is still very good, but not worth 5OA in this draft.

It depends. We know Michkov told Arizona to not draft him; not sure if he told Montreal to or not.

The echo that we get is that he's a terrible teammate in the room. Habs went for someone who also fits their culture.

He probably didn't tell the same thing to MTL as Philly and WSH, Michkov will be a problem in the lockerroom on the long term, no matter the team

Gotta think NSH was hoping one of Carlsson/Smith were still there at 5. After watching Trotz’s press conference, I don’t think Michkov wouldn’t been the play even though he would’ve been BPA.

Nashville offered this trade to Montreal at the start of the draft before Reinbacher was even picked and Montreal declined.

1. This only says they believe Askarov was offered doesn’t say Askarov and both first round picks. That’s just people assuming.

2. If this was offered before the draft they would have been going for one of the centers or Mitchkov not Reinbacher
