Who would you like to see that would realistically sign a value deal? Also it is at $1,000,000 retained so the cap hit would be $2,000,000 making us under the cap

Just like Rodrigues last year someone will probably wait too long and have limited options at the end of the year and the Avs can scoop them up late. Plus with the cap set to rise significantly by 24-25 some players may be more willing to take short deals so they can sign bigger deals later when more teams have space

The Flyers aren’t retaining on Laughton because they have to retain on Hayes and will on TDA so they will want to keep that 3rd spot open. They also already turned down 2023 1sts for him so how does a 1st in a weaker draft and some mid round picks get a deal done?

I think Nyquist or Van Riemsdyk would be good safe bets that would add scoring. Personally I don't think Drouin fits for the Avs, but I could be wrong. I'll take whoever is going to help us the most.
