I think value wise canucks absolutely win this and would do it in a heartbeat, the only reason why we wouldn't is we wouldn't have capspace to get some DMEN but if we could trade one of Garland, Beauvillier, Pearson, or Mikheyev and get ourselves a top 4 dman I think the canucks would definitely be coming out a better team after this trade.

Cap is the main reason. Panarin, like most players who've hit FA, he is overpaid. Also lafreniere needs a shot at top 6 on lw and kreider is worth his pay. About the Canucks cap I think if you could dump Myers to phili with a pick they probably take it and that helps 6m. I think once Myers 5m is payed on July 1st he's gone.

Sure, a FL team I could see...but neither will have that room m. I can't see Anaheim as they will be SOOO bad. I also can't see Dallas finding room.

Add fantilli to Anaheim and if drysdale is healthy I think they take a solid step forward.
