COL isn’t moving Girard purely for cap space reason and they definitely aren’t moving him until there is clarity on at least what Byram’s contract is going to be. His $5M cap hit for a top 4 dman for the next 4 years is a very very nice contract. COL is definitely up to something because those picks they got aren’t helping them field a team this year unless they trade them.

I simply dont like the fact that people think he's Tkachuk and Hughes is quoted as comparing him to Tkachuk. Even Leonard trying to sell that is a bit off. Its hard to develop that same upside. Reinbacher seems like more of a sure bet and also a need.
