I wouldn’t trade him unless we get a first round pick. The value is determinate by Hugues. He doesn’t need to move him but with is low cost salary and rfa right after he become a very interesting assets for team who is looking to compete

Would be pretty happy to end up with a mid 20’s pick for a year of scandella for Harris. I love the kid but with the rise of Matheson plan have change. Now we have 5 Lhd that have a real shot. Engstrom, Guhle Xehkaj, Hutson, Harris.
Harris is expendable at that pount just like Romanov was last year.

Something tells me the Islanders (Lou) are not willing to give up a second to get rid of Bailey. When they got rid of Ladd it was immediately after the season ended. If (Islanders) Lou was willing he would have already. Or if the 2nd is given it will be next year.

I dont hate the idea of taking Rem Pitlick back though for his 1.1 Mil cap hit. Either the 13th forward or bury in the AHL.

IMO Xhekaj have more value than Harris even tho Harris is way better

I personnally would bank on Xhekaj instead of Harris

Rem Pitlick is a very serviceable forward. He can play anywhere from the first to the fourth. He got speed and decent hockey IQ. Can’t hurt a team at that salary.
