Whether you agree or not, they won't view him as more valuable than Svechnikov because he's got defensive issues. Say it's 7x7, at that point, maybe, but you're still not getting a 1st on top of Necas for Nylander. I'm not totally convinced with an extension Nylander has more value. Both had issues in the playoffs this year, and while Nylander had those 40 goals, Necas is one of if not the fastest skater in the NHL.
