Bruins got fortunate that they found a team on Hall's trade list that could take his full contract. Not saying Hall is worth his contract, but Hall should help young Bedard for the next two years. Right now, the Hawks look a little "barren" with their forwards. But if the Hawks draft wisely and sign UFAs wisely in the next couple years, they could be very good again soon.

I don’t think that was luck. Hall at 2 years, $12m is going to take a lot less in terms of years to help Bedaed grow. Plus, a team will give a high pick during the trade deadline for him. All for 2 AHL defenseman who can play right defense in a pinch
