I doubt Forbort and Reilly will be so easy to move. Johansen at $4m wasn't worth a thing. And Sweeney MUST move players. All other GMs know this. They'll crucify Sweeney in every deal.

i think forbort is one they know they don't have to move. they could buy him or play him in the bottom pairing again. just means they aren't potentially looking at the UFA pool at all in that area. Forbort does have value to a team looking to boost its PK and shot suppression.

It's not a matter of value, it's a matter of GMs knowing they can exploit Sweeney or Sweeney loses key pieces. Win/Win for the other GMs.
