No dog in the fight, but that's a lot to give up for a 3rd line center and a top 4D ... No?

Why do you guys keep adding more unnecessary pieces to the trade? It’s pretty straightforward what the deal has become, it’s just not finalized because Krug doesn’t want to go to Philly. They can have Brown because we’re not keeping him, but Dean Sanorukov and the 2nd shouldn’t be added. Also, they’re retaining more than that on Hayes.

There is nothing straight forward about the deal other than Hayes, Sanheim, a first from St. Louis and Krug needing to get sent to a 3rd team. Multiple players beside them were brought up. Sone reports said two first from St. Louis, some said a first and prospect, etc. Until the deal is finalized and reported in full without a bunch of speculation its impossible to say the deal is a relative known.

Yeah at this point it’s basically a late first plus Krug to Philly for Hayes with retention and Sanheim. Krug will be traded with retention to somewhere else and that will give Philly another 3rd round pick probably. Would rather just not have this deal happen at this point and sign O’Reilly and call it quits.

Well, on top of what the reports are saying, where Dean has never once been mentioned, it makes no sense for the Blues to trade Dean in an overpay. But actually, I wasn't saying definitely as in this is an established fact. I was saying it as in hey dude, you definitely need to take him out of the deal.

Where are these "some reports"? I've seen exactly nothing that says any of what you claim to have seen or heard. The latest report says Sanheim may not even be part of the deal, so I have no idea where you got the idea two STL 1sts or a 1st AND an A- prospect were ever in play.

The last word I saw was the deal will not include Sanheim.

Sadly I have glued to my phone since the initial tweet from Strickland hit this afternoon. Between him and Rutherford for the Blues and Sanfilippo and Di Marco for the Flyers the beat guys were tweeting new stuff every 15 mins or so for a while with several different names, picks, prospects.

I mean when I first heard about it, I was thinking Hayes with $3M retained for Leddy and the 29th pick

This is my point exactly. You have a bunch of people just making BS up or pawning off speculation as fact when nobody knows what the final deal is. Briere and Armstrong probably dont even know every exact deal right now otherwise the deal would be official.

I wouldnt be shocked if this ends up being a lot of hype and BS and ultimately the deal is Hayes at 50% for 29 and Krug, and then Flyers retain on Krug and flip him for a 2nd or 3rd.

Yeah, and nobody said anything about two 1sts or a 1st and a prime prospect.

Even if that representation of the situation was accurate (it's not, trades can be fluid and people routinely misread or misunderstand these tweets), none of that explains how Dean suddenly gets added in for some bizarre reason. Not happening.

Last I saw it included Sanheim and a Blues prospect. I originally had Robertson as the prospect but changed it, seemed a bit too light. Trades like this only get the main peices reported until they happen so that doesn't meat there aren't addition assets added. I don't see Brown or Samorukov being signed so I added them as well. Figured Philly might as well get a shot at signing them if they want.

1 - Where did you see Sanheim and a Blues prospect?

2 - Dean would be a main piece, dude. He's not some some fringe add-on to even things out.

You are wrong with your first comment. I have better things to do than make up BS and argue with someone about it. I saw reports that said Laughton was also in the deal and 25 and 29 were included, and I saw another report tbat said Hayes, Sanheim for Krug (who gets flipped) a first, and prospect. If you choose not to believe me you are welcome.

If Philly has to retain on Krug to flip him the Blues have to pay part of that. Charlie O Connor on twitter last said Sanheim is included, he did say retention was a lot, so it may be 50%. I forget who said a prospect.

I never saw multiple firsts though, many people misread Stricklands tweet about players leaving Philly this offseason as all of them being included in this package

Dude. What is immature about asking for a source to your claim? Do you have a source for this two 1sts claim or not? It's really simple and quite standard, dude.

1 - The reports I'm referring to are only about an hour old. O'Connor's last thing with JR was like 5 hours ago, and said nothing of a prospect. Are you confusing it with their ADA trade?. Because O'Connor also said this:

Either way, Dean is presumably out of the question.

2 - Yeah, and they somehow imagined it was a news report, too. The word "could" is literally in the sentence. He was just listing off players they want to move, nothing more. He should really be more clear with his wording.
