DeBrusk is more than a 3rd line winger. He literally played on the top line part year and started his career in the 2nd line.

I wouldn't disagree. I think the offer is a little lite for Hanifin, but I also don't think it's far off. Hanfin offensively has 6 more pts than Hampus Lindholm over the last two seasons, but also 11 more games played.

Lindholm a few years ago netter a 1st + (2) 2nd + struggling prospect + cap dump.

DeBrusk alone is worth a 1st + 3rd. Using the Lindholm deal if you don't want to take a cap dump then it removed a 2nd rounder. The other 2nd kind of gets met DeBrusk value as he's worth a bit more than a first. The difference from 2nd to 3rd round though bumps the struggling prospect to a B-prospect or take out the prospect and just call it a 2nd.
