Description

I think you try to get Jarry back on a one year prove it deal and go after a different goalie next offseason if you can. Hanifin and Bertuzzi should be a top priority get for the Penguins unless Hanifin’s cost is too ridiculous. Kampf sounds like he’s almost a guarantee signing for Dubas and Bunting is the perfect winger for the 3rd line. Fast I feel plays a very Mike Sullivan style game, but you could really go after anyone here to finish the 3rd line. I have no idea what’s gonna happen to Carter so I just put him in the retirement home.

The thing about giving him a one year deal is it's going to raise the AAV. I could see him maybe taking like a 3 year deal in the 4.5-5mil range - if you're only giving him one year I would guess the AAV needs to 5mil minimum. Pure speculation there though. Bunting will get more - and unless you're breaking Carter's legs he's not going on the IR lol. It's a real good team though assuming all if this plays out as you have it

I don't even want Bunting, he played with Matthews and Marner, numbers are overinflated, idk that he'd work with Malkin and unless Guentzel disappears his not playing with Sid.

Bertuzzi definitely isn't in ballpark, pretty sure red wings offered him 5ish and term and he was looking for 6 and term, i think he will come in closer to the 6 mark.

Jarry's agent claimed he wanted $6M AAV + term which if true let him walk.

Bunting at 3M isn’t gonna work. Closer to 4-5M range. I like Hanifin add and this team is better than last year. I don’t like usage of AAV on the back end and we are still a little soft. One of POJ or MP needs to be gone next year on the left side.
