I like this team..not sure AZ would accept what was offered though. (although one can wish) Lars Eller only signing for 1.5 seems low (but granted I dont know what his situation is like now, Im just basing it on his history)..The defence could use some influx (aside from Luke, although I love that)..Sammy is said to be looking for 3.5 to 4M..lets hope we get him at a lower hit than that...Love the idea of Toews..heard friedman say hes looking at Edmondton possibly (Duncan Keith works for them)

AZ not trading Crouse for 27yo w 10 total NHL games, Robertson who knows if pans out, a late 20s pic and a 4th. even if AZ wanted to unload him they get way better.

I agree with all of the above, except I'm more skeptical about how the blue line holds up. With older Gio and Brodie, they might get caved in in the playoffs even without Holl.

Sharks aren’t waiting years to see a return for Murray MAYBE play in the NHL. Really hard no.

its called a cap dump..youre not trading for the player but trading cap space (2years) for cheap young picks in future..Sharks are in rebuild mode for next 4 years.

Im betting Robertson outscores Crouse this year. (just hoping he stays healthy, thats been the issue thus far..his talent and creativity are excellent)

I think you go with what you've got, and make moves closer to the deadline for D

Little reality check for you. Murray dump will be a lot more expensive than that. This isn’t Mrazek, different market, different player and Leafs are desperate to move his cap hit, GMs know this and will leverage a higher return. Sorry, this aint it chief. 3rd round picks have roughly 7% chance of making the NHL and about a 1.7% chance of becoming impact players and take 3-5 years to develop. Make a realistic offer.

maybe so but AZ has many small wingers, Crouse is near league leaders in hits, stud on PK, and scored 45 (25 goals). AZ is young smaller team his intangibles are too important.

Agree with you, but dumping Murray based on comparables should cost a bit more than sending two 3rds and getting a 6th. Mrazek was the low end of the average when you look at cap dump values (athletic did an aticale recently on it). What I got from the article is that dumping Murray should cost a 2nd+ or early 2nd/late 1st

and at some point it may be smarter for TOR to buy him out

Not me negotiating..lol..I dont think its worth more tha that..leafs should just send him to Robidas island imo..why give up any assets for a player who cant stay healthy and is so damn expensive (for his value...we got fleeced by Ottawa)
