The odds of Seattle considering that deal are basically zero. Larsson's trade value is significantly more than the 7th defensemen and second round pick package on offer here. The Kraken won't be willing to trade Larsson anyway, he's a top pairing RHD on a good contract. A team like Seattle whose contention window is just opening holds on to players like him.

I also think McBain gets quite a bit more on his next contract, maybe even doubling the $925K AAV listed here. Even if he does sign that offer sheet, Arizona would match it in a heartbeat. They didn't trade a second round pick for his rights just to let him walk for nothing.

The Pens are currently not rebuilding. They will be in 3-4 years. Hellebuyck will want at least 6 years for his next contract. So he would suffer 4 years of a rebuild in Pit. He will not be interested in that.

The Penguins are contending for a Stanley Cup. They do not want to be perennial losers. If some are content with not contending, they should consider a team that enjoys not contending.

Second, why would HE want to sign with THEM? He doesn't want to play for a rebuilding club. The Pens will be rebuilding in 3ish years. The Pens would love to sign Hellebuyck. Hellebuyck won't want to sign with the Pens.
