I love Kyle Connor, but Winnipeg doesn’t take this package. Plus, we don’t have cap space for Connor and need to address the bottom six and a veteran stop gap.

Is Connor available? I have seen Dubois, Helly, Scheifele, etc…just about everyone except Connor and Morrissey.

Yeah I didn't say this offer gets Kyle Connor. You just seemed to indicated there was nothing of value, and at least 2 of these pieces have solid/signifigant value.

My guess is that the Jets will build around Morrissey, Connor and Ehlers.

I didn’t know if some sort of news prompted this…or was just a speculative or hopeful thing.

I think the Kyle Connor thing is just speculation/wishful thinking. The Jets (through their media surrogate Dreger) have said it won’t be a rip it down to the studs rebuild. However, if it looks like it will take longer than they previously expected after the trades then I could see guys with two years and less left to UFA being shopped.
