A Matthews trade without a sign and trade, is probably at least 5 pieces in my opinion. I would start with 3 1st round picks and go from there.

An easy pass from the Canes... those 3 players (Slavin/Pesce/Necas) are worth more than a 1st rounder each. So you want more value than Matthews is worth & you expect Carolina to take an awful contract back in Murray... Never going to happen.

I'm not saying trade with Carolina. Matthews is good enough that you don't have to attach Murray to the trade. If you don't think a team around the league would do this trade you are overvaluing your team and your players.
