Avs won’t be able to afford Toews next year plus he gets a bigger return then Girard in a trade so that’s why I use him to solve the 2c issue. I’m not sure about J Toews either maybe just let Newhook ride as the 3c but need another Vet in the bottom 6 somewhere

Me too. Even if Landy comes back you can always move guys like Manson for a cheaper D to make some extra room, his NTC converts to a 12 team no trade list in June 2024

In the off chance the Avs do trade Toews, think mid 20's 2C even if there are other pieces to balance him out. Or a 3-team trade with futures going to a team for a 2C.
