Most of the trades I make on here are to promote discussion, offer different ideas, and just have fun making rosters. I actually post rosters instead of clicking on threads offering nothing of value and crying about who needs to add a 3rd rd pick. I'm gonna defend my opinions clearly, but you haven't offered valuable discussion in any post you've been in, never mind being able to fully read a post before crying about it.
Clearly you're more interested in winning meaningless Armchair GM trades than being a fan of hockey.

I don’t dig too far into the numbers when a guy making $8M per scores 12 goals and is well below 0.5 points per game at 5v5. Add in that he’s slow and his numbers are getting worse every year. On the Leafs he wouldn’t sniff PP1 so it’s kind of like paying Alex Kerfoot $8M ($5M with retention) minus the speed and pk. Knock yourself out but I have no interest in johansen , terrible fit for Leafs

Check mate, although I am pretty sure this guy is a troll. He only makes bad trades and then spends time telling leaf fans how stupid that are.
Rip is known to do that. Will scold you for bad takes and trades but never posts anything himself. Cares too much about winning random ACGM arguments.
Now on to your trade:
Ryjo is still a very effective middle 6C. The problem that comes with him is how overpaid he is. He's a great morale guy and great with mentoring younger players. If there is retention (probably closer to 50%), 4m for him at 2 years would be fine to have as your 2C. He's has crappy linemates here on Nashville as well, and his QoT has been poor, kinda makes him look worse than he is.
Now with your payment, I think you did overpay. Ryjo, at half retention, would probably only net Nashville closer to a 2nd+. (If Granlund and Nino can get us a 2nd, so can Ryjo). Which I would be fine with. Nashville needs to clear spots for our younger players.
