But then the Blues sign Hanifin 7 yrs x 6.5m full NTC - while he's 28-35 yrs old - and have 4 immovable, poorly-aging D contracts. I'm all for moving Leddy but the focus should be on players about to enter their prime IMO, guys that are 21-24 yrs old. They're harder to find in trades but will be more worthwhile as the team shifts to a younger core again. If there aren't any trades that make sense, just roll with Krug-Perunovich-Scandella/Rosen/Tucker on the left side and draft/develop.

A bit rich if you ask me.

That package is to much for just Hanifin....maybe Hanifin and Lindholm for Neighbors, Leddy, 2 1st, maybe, and a pick like Loof
