Depending on what that contract could look like…the trade value could go either way. If he wants $10 million over 8 years…the return will be peanuts. If Jets can extend him to $5m x 6 years…it would be massive.

So if you are expecting a much higher return, I’d be curious what you’d expect his next deal to look like.

It sounds like from those in WPG who know, that it's going to be similar to what they are going to do with PLD, which is what Tkachuk did.

Find a team that wants Helly. Negotiate a salary and term and then a package in return. That way the team Helly goes to knows the price, agrees to it and Helly signs with WPG and is immediately traded for the assets.
