Asked to play in all scenarios with heavy ice time and did well. His physical game also was pretty evident with a jump in hits and blocked shots while leading the team in takeaways.

I'll be curious to see what happens in Carolina with their positive cap situation but multiple contracts coming to an end shortly.

That's totally fair... I just don't know if he'll mesh well in an RBA system. I know he's basically untouchable but the only person on the canucks that I think would fit really well in the RBA system is Elias Pettersson. I mean the Hurricanes set themselves up to be able to pay all of their guys and still go after somebody in free agency in the next off-season.

Canes decline. Miller's contract is AWFUL. He cannot play defense, which already means Rod will move him down the lineup. He's a locker room cancer and we've seen him openly scream at teammates. There are pieces in Vancouver I wouldn't mind. Miller is not one of them until he's bought out of that boat anchor in 3 years
