No offense, but I'm struggling to find a reason why Chicago would entertain this. They're rebuilding, picks and prospects are the most valuable commodities to them right now. Here they lose a 2nd, lose a prospect who just had a really nice year, and downgrade their 1st in a really good draft.
Now, it might be worthwhile if the Hawks thought they could flip TDA and Hayes for more value at a later date. However, that's not something I would be willing to gamble on, personally. Even if I was, I doubt the Hawks would be willing to bring in these two players, specifically. They've had a lot of off-ice stuff going on over the last 3 years, I doubt they want to bring in TDA who's had problems throughout his career with controversy off-ice. Hayes doesn't have that same issue, but I think there's still some dislike for him amongst Blackhawks fans. I certainly don't care for him.
