Not enough for Iafallo.

I saw the rumor that the Kings are kicking tires on Wilson, but I just don't understand why the Caps would trade him. That's not even considering his injuries and he's a rental.

Just doesn't seem to fit for me.

Would like to add a player like Wilson, but unless they can cut a sweet deal for him at 50% retained I can’t see it. Hard to fit his full contract, and they can’t afford an extension, so unlikely they offer a bunch of high value assets.

Why in the world would we want one season of Tom Wilson instead of one season of Viktor Arvidsson, at the cost of our next first-round draft pick PLUS Alex Turcotte? That seems downright idiotic to me.

Buffalo adds their 2024 third or else they get Arvidsson instead of Iafallo (unless the Sabres want to add Ryan Johnson, which seems unlikely).

Why? He's a good bottom 6 forward but there's nothing exceptional about him to think the Sabres would go against their M.O. and block a roster spot for Kulich or Savoie just to add the hometown PR appeal of Iafello.

I think washington would want someone with more immediate impact than turcotte, like how they targeted sandin. I think a wilson to LAK deal in the offseason would look something like Wilson for Vilardi + whatever forward you want to balance the money. even though pagnotta is generally pretty good i must say that i don't like LA as a fit for wilson that much

Iafallo would be a perfect fit on with Cozens and Quinn. Help them out on the D side and can put points on the board as well. Plays a great 200 ft game
