Nashville needs centers. They arent trading their most productive center (novak), one of their better center prospects (burke), and only middle 6 vet center (Johansen) for a pair of wings and a more cost efficient middle 6 center. We just cant afford that.

Nashville already has two young centers that were 40ish point paces (parsinnen and glass) adding another one who isnt a clear upgrade over the others doesnt help. Especially when it comes at the cost of the only center that had a 60 point plus pace. Thats a step back at center for a team that is already bad at center. If novak wants to leave, nashville needs to just accept the tank and go for a top 3 pick.

Dont really care what panarin can do. You dont invest nearly 28 million in 3 wingers when you center core sucks.
