That's fair. Ehlers is ELITE level talent, but he gets hurt a lot because he's fearless and gets targeted a lot. He's not very well protected in WPG. With protection, he can do amazing things.

Need team control. Need to rebuild 1a or 1b if scheifele and Dubois moved and also could use a top end rhd with team control. Package something to pull Schneider possibly, or chytil plus or possibly something 3 way Montreal and their love of lafreniere and Dubois. Easier to rebuild the wings or lhd. So top end Center prospect or rhd with team control

I could see Laffy + for him because it addresses a need at RW and Othmann can replace Laffy in the line up LW on Chytil's line. Chytil and Schneider are long term pieces in NY and not going anywhere.

Laf and the 1st is pretty good value. You would have to believe Laf will get better.
