Value wise the Avs probably accept but it doesn't really give them anything that helps them now.

Talk about shallow analysis, “COL is looking to make room for Byram”, Byram averaged 21:53 in TOI last season sure looks like they already have room for him.

After watching these playoffs, I would rather play Hunt than Liligren if it costs any of the Avs dman. Not sure the added late 1st and 3rd do that much towards a trade that isn't a rental(and bring us backt o the age old statement, "the Avs are not trading Girard for a rental or 30yo+ center on a career year".

I think liligren is a better player than he gets credit. These playoffs he was placed with Giordano and both were struggling most of the time.

As for the return for Girard being picks rather than players is a difficult one as we don't really know what's going on with Nichuskin as that can change what the Avs are looking for and what cap room they have. So I figured the picks would give them options to move for the player they want.

Perhaps I'm under estimating Anderssons value, but I would assume the top 25 scorer over the last 3 season would have a higher value.

Edit: The Avs would still have to replace Girard and Lili doesnt do that, I would rather just plug in Jack Johnson or call up Malinski. If there was some big trade for a 2c(with term) that required 5m to be moved out, sure the value is ok. I had major problems with Lili's decision making that I can't write off as he was held back by Gio.
