Debrincat will need a big extension, he could be exactly what they’ve been missing. CAR takes it, not sure with OTT

I like turbo and from what I’ve seen he’s a very good 2 way player. He could be a very good fit on the 2nd line and cheaper to sign that Cat

One of the more reasonable DeBrincat trades posted. An extension is necessary for any trade as DeBrincat's 9m QO kicks in and then how does any team afford home or want to. Do the Canes bite on the trade? IMO Velmelka is worth more.

Canes should 100% bite. They could probably convince Cat to sign with the coach and also being in the states and a contender.

Guess it depends on what DeBrincat will sign for and how it fits into the Canes cap projections. Turbo's contract runs out next summer, so if nothing else the Sens have addititional cap space in the summer of 2024. Just my thought if I was player, I would like to play/live in. Carolina. Nice travel schedule in the Metro division, on a good team which looks like it can be good for years.

I feel like Canes are the perfect trade partner, if Debrincat gets traded, but I personally would try and get Necas, since he's younger, and can play both at Center and wing.
