Plus, they're all Boston born players coming back in the trade.

Meyers even after his bonus is a negative asset, at best you can claim neutral. Studnika for Lundestrom 1 for 1 is not a trade the Ducks are interested in.

They have bodies in Providence. They can clear out a quick $5 million in additional cap space by buying out Forbort & Reilly. The guys you're sending back don't fill a need. Boston has too many LW as it is and we're looking to move LHD because we have to many. On top of all that this deal has Boston taking on more cap space....while creating a hole at RHD amd making their team worse.

You can just take Simek for free. Not that he isnt worth something. Just he is part of a big logjam at LD in San Jose. He’s still a decent, physical defenseman.

Bruins are not trading Carlo, the organization views him very highly. Like I don’t think they move him unless it’s something that’s so absurd they can’t possibly say no, like a first + a good prospect. And we have like 5 guys we can move for cap space before him, so he won’t be a cap dump.
