The rangers don't need to add an asset to goodrow. If we can't move him, we can buy him out, and its a Net positive for the cap this year.
And in regards to the flyers specifically.
The flyers are about to tank. The flyers have no reason to not absorb cap space for picks. If you're not using cap space for picks, you're failing at tanking.

In a deal for Tippett it would be Goodrow + futures that is literally the whole point of me talking on this thread

What the flyers need (and I'm not in the business of doing the flyers favors) is a solid, experienced, dependable leader in the locker room and on the ice. Goodrow checks all boxes. The flyers don't have any "leaders" on the team since Giroux left - that is why they were such a dumpster fire last year.
