Why in the world would Colorado do this? Bennett is not even close and the rest of the deal is a waste. Toews is a legitimate top defenseman in this league you cannot offload your spair parts for him. Colorado got a steal when they traded for him they are not going to simply let him go for this deal.

Not saying any trade would actually go down, but if Zito called inquiring about Toews, I'm pretty sure Lundell would be the guy Cmac and Jsak insist on. Bennett doesn't get there.

And Colorado needs a second line center with some physical play to him. Got them real far this year missing one. It’s time to let byram take the top line anyways instead of spending 30 plus million on 4 dman
