They also look at cap hit and real salary. A guy who is paid as a good top sixer and produces like an average bottom sixer, isn't desirable.

Laffy is also the easiest RFA for the Rangers to retain this offseason.

40 Points for a 1OA pick is underachieving. People still see the potential that Laf has that's why we want our teams to have him.
