Yes with ease. There’s about one piece in that whole trade that’s remotely interesting and it’s what I’m assuming is an unprotected 2025 first. Your 14th OA this year is the next best piece but that’s a player that’s 2-3 years away from the NHL. The players involved are just not good enough to move the needle in a trade that’s going to be player heavy. We could get a couple expiring contracts from LA or Vegas who are about equal to Rust without taking on that contract for that many years. Joseph is the epitome of average and unimpressive. Pickering is an ok prospect but he’s not really getting a ton of traction in juniors and looks more like a tweener or 3rd pairing Defenceman at the NHL level than a top pairing defenceman.
