1.
WPG
  1. Luukkonen, Ukko-Pekka
  2. Östlund, Noah
  3. Choix de 1e ronde en 2023 (BUF)
Détails additionnels:
Jets get pick 13 in this years draft
Upl is 24 year old goalie who could use a change and maybe fines a way to be a 1a/1b goalie
Ostlund gives the jets a prospect overseas to build the team with
BUF
  1. Hellebuyck, Connor
  2. Stanley, Logan [Droits de RFA]
Détails additionnels:
Buffalo gets Hellebuyck who is a venza winner, 3 times nominated in 6 years and would give Buffalo the best shot at ending the drought they have as throwing Levi to be a 1a with thr experience he has and hope to make playoffs is optimistic. Get stanley for bottom pair lhd and with his age and size could be a nice addition
2.
WPG
  1. Dvorak, Christian
  2. Kidney, Riley
  3. Choix de 2e ronde en 2024 (COL)
  4. Choix de 1e ronde en 2025 (CGY)
Détails additionnels:
Jets get Calgary's 2025 first (can choose 2024 first if in 20-32 range). Colorado's 2024 second, Kidney who has great offensive numbers in the q with b2b 100 point seasons and a cap player coming back in Dvorak or hoffman
MTL
  1. Dubois, Pierre-Luc [Droits de RFA]
Détails additionnels:
Mtl gets their guy and keeps the 2023 picks and their own future 1sts in the process. Sign him to the 7 year 8m deal and start to turn the corner on being a competitive team. Jets also throw in vesalainen as a flyer type pick up where in 3 years if he's wanting to return to NA then they can sign him as a depth piece after some strong seasons over seas. If not it doesn't take up a roster spot until he's signed and has no risk besides if he stays over seas.
3.
WPG
  1. Lapierre, Hendrix
  2. Choix de 1e ronde en 2024 (WSH)
Détails additionnels:
Jets get a 2024 first go help get more young assets on the team. Lapierre is a good prospect where he is good at a lot of things but master of none.
WSH
  1. Harkins, Jansen
  2. Scheifele, Mark (3 062 500 $ retained)
Détails additionnels:
Caps get scheifele 50% retained around the deadline where he can be a good top 6 piece to compete again next year. Harkins provides young bottom 6/depth support for the team.
4.
WPG
  1. Zadina, Filip
  2. Choix de 2e ronde en 2023 (DET)
Détails additionnels:
Jets get a 2023 2nd to bring in a rhd prospect and zadina who could use a change of scenery.
DET
  1. Johannesson, Anton [Liste de réserve]
  2. Pionk, Neal
Détails additionnels:
Detroit gets a perfect 2nd pair rhd that can do it all (pp, pk, hit, block, provide offense support. Get johannesson as a toss in prospect that's currently in the 3rd tier Swedish league but could be in a different higher league next year. Had injury issues and might be able to sign him to play in ahl at some point.
5.
WPG
  1. Garland, Conor
  2. Myers, Tyler
  3. Choix de 1e ronde en 2024 (VAN)
Détails additionnels:
Definitely the most questionable deal so I'll accept the push back on the deal.

Jets get Garland who is a solid middle six player just isn't worth almost 5m. Could be a nice addition to have a player give it all season. Myers replaces demelo on the right side and basically plays the same role that demelo does. Get a top 10 protected 1st in 2024. This could also be a lower pick with a b prospect.
VAN
  1. DeMelo, Dylan
  2. Heinola, Ville
Détails additionnels:
Vancouver gets the exactly the player they need in demelo who is a solid defensive dman that is rhd and a lower cap hit. Can be a great pair with hughes and how Morrissey was able to boom with the solid partner demelo is maybe hughes takes another step and becomes a norris finalist. Heinola is here as Vancouver seems to want to bring in younger nhl ready or on the crusp to help build a core. He has been shut out of the jets lineup and really could use a change where a team values what he can bring.
6.
WPG
  1. Blackwood, Mackenzie [Droits de RFA]
Détails additionnels:
Jets sign Blackwood he probably doesn't get qualified but since his qo is so high nj can't expect anything for a return as he ain't worth 3.3m and not a lot of teams would be paying late picks for a injury prone goalie like him
NJD
  1. Blaisdell, Harrison [Liste de réserve]
Détails additionnels:
Nj can take Blaisdell and hope he turns into something but honestly just gives them something for him even if it will likely never have an impact on the franchise

Scheifele will not return any Top 10 Pick from any team.

When did I say it's a top 10 pick look up to when I said a pick in the 20s lol when I first quoted your response. Capitals also aren't getting a top 10 pick next year lol

The Capitals have a Top 10 Pick This Year. What do you expect to change so drastically next year? You don’t seem to understand anything about the Capitals. Understanding the team you’re proposing a trade to is a pretty big part of proposing trades in AGMs.

Actually change up the team and try to make the best use of ovi's tenure. Look at when the caps got Forsberg that was a time they missed and then they made a bad trade but the point still remains they should be a better team and ultimately they should ve better how much better I think around where Florida/tampa finished

You just made the best possible case against the trade you’re proposing. The Capitals should not trade premium futures (like any 1sts) for aging veterans. The last time they did that is all the proof you need. Ovi will be fine with the team as-is. The team needs to at least consider what happens after Ovi, Backstrom, Carlson, and Kuznetsov. They should absolutely not make trades that make the team older.

Yeah but no way they fully tear it down with ovi there, signed Kuemper, strome signed, Carlson still playing great. They either go and trade everyone or are a mid team that doesn't suck enough for a top pick but not good enough for the playoffs and when they need to rebuild its the same amount of time if they spent a couple assets trying to get that 7/8 seed in the east.

It's fair value wise maybe not the right team but if scheifele was to be traded this type of return on another team would be the base. Don't get butt hurt I picked the wrong team sorry I couldn't be perfect for you

Caps aren’t the team for this deal but this value is accurate imo. 50% retained Scheifele is worth a 1st.

Thank you I knew I was making a statement with the caps so I think I may have just chosen the wrong team. Can't go wrong with him to Colorado.

Canucks are not trading a good middle 6 forward and a first round pick for a 30 year old bottom 4 defenseman....

Nothing about a small 5M winger is good and for 3 years term lmao you have no clue what a cap is, i cant believe you users are on this site. Its capfriendly not hfboards.. You understand there is a thing as a bad contract and its a negative asset. You dont pick up players like pokemon cards. You need to fit salary in this thing called a cap or you cant ice a team. Keeping Garland means no extension for your good players that will be paid during that same 3 year term. But why let practical thought clearly dissuade your fairy tale. Bjorkstrand can be given away, a strong 2 way play driver winger but nope not little midget Garland that is famous for having Mackinnon throw a helmet at him. Delusional

What helps a rebuild more: a Top Prospect and 1st Rd Pick OR a 30-year old already showing signs of declining?

I don't think he gets a top prospect along with it though. If Orlov at 50% (plus Hathaway) is only worth a 1st that was gonna be 28th in the absolute best case scenario, a 3rd next year, and a 2nd two years later, then Scheifele at 50% isn't getting a prospect of HL's caliber along with a higher 1st. I think teams have really wised up about giving up major assets for rentals not being worth it.

Ah, come on. It’s worth keeping him in there just to confuse everyone with all the variations of A. Johannsen’s we’ll have in the system.

A 20th something first that's probably protected and is no guarantee to become scheifele for a guy that scored 40 goals and can be had at a 3m cap hit. It's a fair deal and others agree

As a rental I'd personally guarantee that a team gives up a 1st foe him how many rental options are previous 40 goal scorers. I'm not saying that he's worth the world here but look at the o'reilly deal. He could probably get around the same minus the 2nd round pick and maybe a worse prospect. You do realize that scheifele is a top 6 player that can be at a 3m cap hit which is quite manageable with the cap of many contenders. Someone (you) just hates him for the Evans hit and just won't let your bias get out of the way of effectively analyzing what he'd realistically get via past trades and comparables. He doesn't have to be a voice in the locker room like he is here and I'd say it's more reflects on wheeler as he was the actual captain and many still see him as one. You're just bias no way around it to not see how a team would rush to pay a 1st a 3rd and b- prospect.

The Evans hit was clean. Scheifle at deadline could get a Tarasenko type of return, not more. A first, a fourth, roster player and a C prospect. Not a pick who is probably going to be around 15 and a good prospect

Yes that's what I'm saying bruh idk where Capitals go. Just imagine I did it to Colorado for 2024 first and olausson for scheifele not retained (with landy out for the year it's less needed) I keep saying the ror deal and look where the 1st is 26th overall. I think you paid way too much attention to the team rather than the concept. Sure I picked the wrong team that's on me but to say scheifele ain't worth a first is just preposterous

I agree, I think its a 1st alone or with a little extra. Not a top prospect
