These are all ****ing terrible for every team that is not the Leafs. Basically half of those Leafs players (Samsonov, McCabe, Lafferty) are not worth 1st Rd Picks. The Capitals trade is particularly ****. The Caps pick is Top 10, so completely off the table for almost any return especially this pile of crap. I also wouldn’t trade Lapierre for both McCabe and Lafferty so that’s also a NO. Again these are terrible.

No it doesn't, and not just because they'll probably be back anyway. The whole point of moving Leddy is to clear cap and space for a different top 4 LD. This only clears space for two players that are not needed, the best of whom they probably can't re-sign.

What do you want just to take Leddy. If you insist on Kap, then how much for both? No 23 1sts are available, let alone all three. What's the deal for Leddy or Leddy and Kap?
