This is definitely a crazy idea, Nashville probably doesn't do this trade. It is a huge reset for both teams but gives Nashville a bit of a new start. Why Nashville might do it? They get to add Marner to bolster the new beginning, Josi is 32 and has 5 years left at just over 9 million and they get out of Duchene's 3 years and 8 million. The next step for Nashville could be to deal Saros for a bundle and see if they can get out of the Johansen contract for their restart. Marner probably isn't their kind of player so its a long shot, but this is for fun so why not? lol
