I don't think Provorov has a ton a value. I think they'd be hard pressed to get a first for him. He hasn't been good for years and he's a bad locker room guy. Laughton's probably worth a second. If Philly would retain a few million and take a bad contract back in a Marner trade, you could do better than what you're giving up.

I think he will fetch a first for sure either now or when a team is desperate at the deadline. Unless Marner can be flipped for a ransom there’s no point in this trade for the Flyers rebuild
