I think the Rangers would love to do this. I think the value seems pretty fair, biggest problem would be NMC on Panarin

Both Marner and Panarin have a NMC, so its unlikely.

Thing is.. both are/have been made scapegoats for lack of success. I could see it although I think NYR adds still. Maybe a Jones for the future backend

I get it. The reason I suggested this for the Leafs would be Panarin is a guaranteed 3rd year and does have clutch playoff experience that you can’t say Marner does have. That 3rd year for Marner is going to be more than the Panarin 3rd year as well.

Understandable but Marner is born and raised in TO and is likely to sign an extension as soon as he can. I don't see him leaving this team even if we lose tonight

The idea is good, for both teams. Rangers most definitely need to a sweetener tho. And not a timid sugar either, I’m talking Schneider or Miller (most likely). Definitely a defensemen and not a forward. Jmo. I love the idea of Marner Panarin trade. I think Panarin would prefer a less pressure city tho
