Top 4 dman who can actually play top 4 min and wouldn't have to play schenn top 4 min next year, Debrusk is good and almost as good in the playoffs (points wise) and Fredric is a solid bottom 6 guy with a great talent of tougness. Now realistically niether team would do this. It was just a fun question

Probably not, Bruins top prospect is a RW that could be ready as early as this year and we already have 11mil allocated to Pasta. Not saying Lysell will be anywhere near as good as Marner, but still can't really afford to put that much money towards another RW. Also trading Carlo would leave a huge hole in our defense, our RHD depth is very thin and any RHD prospects we currently have are a few years away, if they ever even make it.

Honestly do people on here, Look up the other teams cap structure before making trades? There's absolutely noway Boston can afford both Marner and Brodie. They need to move out some bodies as it is. Just to afford to re-sign some players.
