Ottawa doesn't need any of that. Ottawa LD is stacked, and if they're paying 6M for a goaler it won't be Markstrom - zero chance they'll give up three highly touted prospects for that.

Both teams decline. Greig and Ostapchuk would work for Calgary if they were rebuilding but they aren't rebuilding. Ottawa doesn't need a top 4 LD or an older overrated overpaid goalie and since Calgary isn't rebuilding (not yet anyhow) they'd need to find a top 4 LD to replace Hanifin.
