I mean... if you want Blackwood, you could probably just take him for FC's. But, if CHI moves him, it will most likely be for the purpose of creating roster space, which means they probably won't want a player in return. Kelly would probably just end up on waivers.

Thomson has great offensive skill but the RHD type they need is JBD, a defensive specialist. Thomson wouldn't sniff a PP minute in Ottawa with Chabot, Chychrun, Sanderson, Brannstrom and Kleven. That's without talking about the forwards... sometimes PP units have 4 forwards

Sokolov is good at the AHL level but another guy who needs PP time because he's not fast enough to produce at ES. There wouldn't be any PP opportunity for him in Ottawa

Just 2 prospects the Sens don't need. Their better prospects are :
